Lovespirals’ second single from their 2010 album, Future Past, is “Feel So Good.” Last December, Sony Acid Planet held a remix contest for Lovespirals’ funky, Pink Floyd-esque, retro electro-rock tune, and over 40 producers put their own unique stamp on the original track. The new Feel So Good EP features the very best of the bunch. Back in 2008 and 2009 when Lovespirals were creating their 4th album, Future Past, the duo captured some of those behind-the-scenes moments on various video formats. Including intimate clips of them during the songwriting, recording, and production process — as well as time spent at various beaches in their native Southern California to recharge their creative batteries — this video montage gives fans an excellent look into the lives of indie musicians, Ryan Lum and Anji Bee. Lovespirals ‘Love EP’ Released

The first single from Lovespirals’ fourth album, ‘Future Past,’ to get the full remix treatment is “Love” – an atmo drum ‘n’ bass tune that recalls some of the duo’s earliest work together. A half dozen producers from totally different musical schools of thought took the poppy yet ethereal vocals of Anji Bee and set them to completely new musical scores.

Shine is Track of the Day on Garageband

The first single from Future Past, “Shine,” has been selected as Alternative Pop “Track of the Day” on music site, Garageband. The accolade comes as part of the ongoing music contest for this unique site, where songs are judged by fellow musicians on a number of criteria. “Shine” was featured on the site earlier as the “Best Female Vocals” in Alt Pop for the week of December 7, 2009.
